The Mobility Equipment Technician will be responsible for the delivery, setup, maintenance, and repair of mobility equipment, working directly with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure equipment meets individual needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver, assemble, and troubleshoot mobility and complex rehab equipment (power chairs, wheelchairs, etc.)
Perform in-home or facility-based setup and servicing of equipment
Assist ATPs with assessments and recommendations to meet patient needs
Perform repairs and order service parts in coordination with purchasing
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and delivery paperwork
Monitor inventory and maintain workspace organization
Complete required continuing education and internal certifications
Serve as a positive and professional representative of Rehab Medical to patients and care providers

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs
Basic computer and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with patients while maintaining professionalism, respect and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering consumer or medical equipment
