Responsibilities

Assisting in the development of program strategies, specifications, and costs, while ensuring compliance with SSP and higher-level requirements and initiatives

Providing technical, schedule, cost, and risk assessments, to include considerations for technical, operational, and programmatic trade-offs

Participating in Critical Design Reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, Production Reviews, Design Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, and other program-related meetings and reviews

Leading and supporting integrated product teams

Required

U.S. citizen with Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred)

Bachelor's degree in STEM (preferably engineering, chemistry, physics, math)

Ability to work at Washington Navy Yard

4+ years of engineering experience on defense programs

Exceptional writing and presentation abilities and self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Master's degree in a STEM field

Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)

Experience with Department of Defense weapon system acquisition or Navy operational experience, ideally related to Navy submarine systems or Strategic Weapon System (SWS) integration, development or testing efforts
