New Grad, Entry LevelCyient Inc. is currently seeking an OSP Design Fielding Engineer to work remotely in the greater Erie, PA region. The role involves surveying and assessing field conditions for OSP Fiber and Copper Overbuilds, while managing multiple work locations and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Travel to the field to survey, confirm, and assess current field conditions
Meet with the customer or third parties as they relate to ongoing OSP or In Building designs
Self-manage their workload and work schedule
Communicate daily progress status to all reporting managers & stakeholders
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in the Telecommunications Outside plant engineering and/or construction industry beneficial
Should have good understanding of basic computer concepts and technology
Should have solid abilities in use of mobile device/ handheld devices
basic to intermediate computer skills
the ability to use measuring devices and perform simple mathematical calculations
Should be proactive and a self-learner
Possess strong professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data
Should have good attitude and ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
Ability to communicate daily progress status to all reporting managers & stakeholders
valid and clean driver's license
good communication skills
Punctuality
flexibility to work long days and/or some overnight travel is required from time to time
Preferred
some college is a +
Experience with the following design programs: ICGS/IDDS and PRS is preferred
