Survey Technology Specialist

AllTerra Central, Inc. is a leader in geospatial innovation, seeking a Survey Technology Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role involves hands-on work with Trimble survey and MGIS equipment, ensuring customers receive optimal technology solutions through testing, troubleshooting, and support.

Responsibilities

Engage with the latest Trimble technologies to ensure each unit is optimized and ready for field deployment
Coordinate rental requests with customers and the sales team via phone, email, and in-person
Manage rental tracking using Microsoft Business Central
Execute pre-rental inspections and quality assurance testing for all outgoing equipment kits
Perform post-rental inspections on all returned equipment, identifying and documenting any issues or damages
Oversee the entire shipping and receiving process for all rental gear
Ensure all company QA/QC measures are followed and achieved, including loading operating systems, software, firmware, system files, preset settings, and licenses on appropriate devices
Test all equipment to ensure it is fully functional and ready for use upon receipt by the customer
Work closely with our sales and operation teams to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved
Resolve a variety of technical issues for walk-in clients, ensuring a positive and efficient service experience
Work closely with our operation and supply teams to achieve inventory compliance and maintain inventory control

Required

Experience with Trimble survey, construction, or MGIS products and software is essential
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience is required
Highly motivated and ambitious
Ability to speak in a professional manner and communicate well via phone, email or in person
Computer Literate – MS Office preferred
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
Strong time management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting all weekly and monthly goals
Strong attention to detail and adaptability to handle several tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Teams, and SharePoint
Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary
