They are seeking a Summer Youth Programs Manager to lead and enhance youth programming, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for young members during summer activities.

Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of the Club’s summer youth and camp programming, with the support and direction of the Assistant Director
Develop and implement systems to improve the program with focuses on engagement and safety
Monitor and maintain the overall Camp and Youth Programming budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and staffing
Train, supervise, and support camp and youth program staff. Perform evaluations and provide opportunities for growth
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting high morale and teamwork. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and camp/youth program staff through effective supervision, risk management, and emergency preparedness
Enforce policies and procedures, addressing any disciplinary or behavioral issues promptly and effectively
Other program support duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to practice discretion and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work well with children and adults
Ability to keep up with physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment, including frequent lifting of up to 50lbs, long periods of standing/walking, and to confidently swim and tread water
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification prior to job start
Monday - Friday availability. Occasional adjusted hours to accommodate evening programs, including most Fridays in July and August. Start and end date flexible, ideally mid-May through the end of August
Preferred
Current or previous study or experience in childhood education, youth programming, or recreation
Previous experience training and supervising a staff
Experience in a customer service environment
Experience managing and following a program budget
