Explus, Inc is a custom museum fabrication company in Northern Virginia that houses a fully equipped production facility. The Fabrication Team Leader will oversee the activities of a team of production workers, ensuring effective coordination and execution of production tasks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams

Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel

Place production orders from customers

Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Lead, guide, and train subordinate employees

Monitor work habits of employees; motivate and supervise

Review the performance of other team members

Delegate work assignments when necessary

Problem solve and value engineer details with design and detailing department

Plan and adhere to the schedule and budgeted hours

Distribute Blueprints (AKA: Shop Drawings) to team members

Lead and manage installations at client’s location

Manage subcontractors at client’s location at Install

Knowledge of custom woodworking, mill working, cabinetmaking and finishing
