Responsibilities

Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain Appian-based business process management (BPM) solutions that meet client requirements and align with industry best practices

Testing and Implementation: Conduct thorough testing and support the deployment of developed applications to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions

Requirements Analysis: Analyze customer environments, business goals, and project requirements to define and implement future-state business processes

Team Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally lead small project teams to deliver effective BPM solutions

Solution Alignment: Ensure all developed solutions align with business objectives, technical standards, and compliance requirements

Client Engagement: Work directly with senior leaders to scope, design, and deliver Appian solutions that meet client expectations and business needs

Agile Development: Partner with Scrum Masters and team members to deliver solutions on time using Agile methodologies

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Appian Developers, fostering their technical growth and development

Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest Appian features and development practices. Participate in training and certification programs supported by HumanIT Solutions

Required

Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required for access to TS/SCI facilities, environments, and computer systems

Bachelor's Degree, preference for Information Technology, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent work experience)

24 years of Appian development experience with an active Senior Appian Developer Certification

12 years leading Appian development teams

Strong understanding of BPM, SDLC, and Appian architecture

Experience with database/system integration and process automation

Proficient in root cause analysis and Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills

Able to work independently, lead small teams, and communicate with leadership
