Responsibilities

Analyzes all aspects of hospital management and operations for potential improvement opportunities

Conducts routine to moderate operational or financial analysis in the areas of process improvement, productivity standards development, performance monitoring, and resource allocation and scheduling

This position requires a self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and to work with only general supervision on assigned projects and activities

The individual must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in situations of conflict and controversy and must have excellent communication and presentation skills

Industrial EngineeringHealth Systems EngineeringHealthcare AdministrationMS OfficeCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering, Health Care Administration, Organizational Development, a health-related profession, or another related field

Demonstrated knowledge of computers and microcomputer applications

Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred

Previous experience in management engineering, industrial engineering, operations improvement, CQI activities, or health care consulting

Working knowledge of other microcomputer applications including: Access database applications, HRMS, and other financial systems

Previous experience in working in a team-oriented environment
