InternWebasto Americas is a leading automotive supplier focused on making individual mobility enjoyable and sustainable. They are seeking an Operational Performance Intern to support manufacturing processes, conduct process improvement activities, and present findings to leadership.

Responsibilities
Support manufacturing through time spent on the manufacturing floor gathering ideas and feedback from operators, supervisors, maintenance, Quality, etc
Conduct process improvement activities using lean principles and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping
Summarizes improvements and presents them to the leadership team when appropriate
Assist in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of all MES applications implemented on manufacturing floor
Writing documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
Preparation, analysis, and review of process relevant KPIs and identification of improvement potentials
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering
Good Knowledge of MS Office tools
Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen
Good verbal and written communication skills. Needs to be able to communicate with all levels within the plant
Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis competency
Preferred
VISIO and Microsoft Project Experience is a plus
