Responsibilities
Perform the assembly of cables according to specific work instructions, engineering drawings, or diagrams
Set up and start up molding machines using appropriate rubber materials such as polyurethane and elastomers
Document mold changes and machine adjustments
Operate various tools, machinery, and equipment required to over-mold cable assemblies, including heat guns and molding presses
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment to maximize productivity and safety
Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and quality management systems
Ensure cables meet quality standards and specifications
Identify any defects or issues, such as loose connections, improper soldering, or damaged insulation, to maintain the integrity of the final product
Maintain and create a clean, uncluttered environment that reduces waste and optimizes productivity by following the 5S steps: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain
