Aero Technical Assessment Review Technical Lead

Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead for the Aeronautics Technical Assessment Review (ATAR) / Independent Technical Review (ITR) process for technical proposals that require integration and development
Facilitate the technical evaluation of proposals, ensuring that they meet the requirements and timeline of the ATAR/ITR process
Utilize strong systems engineering skills and an understanding of the air system and the technical plans and documents that define the technical solution
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership
Qualification
Required
Strong systems engineering skills
Understanding of the air system and the technical plans and documents that define the technical solution
Exposure to the proposal process
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership
Preferred
Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as a Master's Systems Engineering
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering tools and techniques
Experience with the Technical Planning process and/or understanding of the Technical Planning artifacts
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, such as those developed by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
Experience or familiarity with proposal development and evaluation, including the development of technical proposals and the evaluation of proposals against technical requirements and standards
