Responsibilities

Cash and investment management

SAP project systems for debt authorization and debt outstanding tracking to bond ballot proposition authorizations with Department level breakout at the project level

Investment and cash activities for SAP related activities

Downloading information from the Municipality's investment management system (currently Sympro)

Statements and activity reports from all banking services providers and related information from the General ledger (currently SAP) and reconciling these three databases on a regular basis

Researching, resolving and correcting discrepancies

Researching market values for all securities as needed, including securities that do not have readily available market values

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related discipline and two years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience

A certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and two years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience

Associates degree in Accounting or a related discipline and four years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and six years of professional accounting, payroll, or similar work experience
