Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a distributed billing/revenue team across multiple time zones
Manage workload, performance, coverage, and act as escalation point for complex issues
Own hardware contract abstraction and ensure accurate NetSuite invoicing
Partner with Sales to resolve discrepancies and translate contract terms into billing schedules
Serve as functional revenue owner for Hardware, managing obligations and recognition timing
Oversee revenue schedules, deferrals, and reporting in line with German GAAP and audit requirements
Work with Collections, Procurement/AP, Sales Ops, and IT to resolve billing and operational issues
Ensure alignment between vendor delivery, customer invoicing, and internal processes
Drive process improvements, automation, and maintain documentation of policies and controls
Support cross-pillar initiatives and provide assistance across GL, AP, AR, audits, and systems during peak periods
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership of distributed finance/billing teams in high-volume environments
Deep experience interpreting complex commercial contracts and translating to billing/revenue rules
High ownership mindset and ability to navigate escalations with cross-functional partners
Process-improvement orientation with a track record of automation and scalability initiatives
Preferred
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Strong command of revenue recognition principles (German GAAP a plus)
