Responsibilities
Develop pre-season assortment plans, factoring in demand sales trends by platform
Review recommended inventory assortment plans with Merchandising partners prior to market presentations
Reconcile post-market buys to the original assortment plan to ensure alignment with financial targets
Facilitate internal communication among Planning, Merchandising, Forecasting, Inventory Management, Merchandise Financial Planning, and Digital Commerce teams
Influence business strategy and decision-making across cross-functional teams to positively impact business outcomes
Share knowledge, observations, and opportunities related to business performance and inventory management
Develop and independently execute Merchandising Assortment Planning strategies for assigned business areas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in merchandising/marketing/online sales or equivalent business experience
3-5 years experience in planning/allocation in an online retail environment, or equivalent combination of training and experience required
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and windows based systems
Ability to lead large-scale projects across multiple lines of a business
Ability to analyze situations and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business
Ability to develop strategic assortment plans and have financial skills
