Responsibilities

Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely completion

Manage general ledger entries and maintain detailed financial records

Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies

Prepare and review journal entries to maintain compliance with accounting standards

Assist in financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Collaborate with the accounting team to evaluate the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Provide expertise and guidance during the system implementation process, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems

Analyze accounting workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency

Train and support team members in utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central effectively

Extensive experience in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

Proficiency in creating journal entries and maintaining compliance with accounting regulations

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics GP

Familiarity with system implementation and conversion processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within an accounting context

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide training

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
