Teaching Faculty I, 12 Month Salaried (Open Rank) - Electrical Engineering (Panama City Campus)

The Teaching Faculty I role involves teaching undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering, engaging with students, and collaborating with faculty to enhance the educational experience.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in the Electrical Engineering curriculum, with a special emphasis on the following areas: Signals and Systems, Statistical Topics, Digital Communications, Analysis and Design of Control Systems
Teach elective courses that may be dual listed for both undergraduate and graduate students and participate in supervising or serving on thesis committees as appropriate to your expertise
Work with colleagues on campus and in the community to recruit students, promote the FSUPC ECE program and engage with local initiatives to benefit student experiences and program access
Collaborate with colleagues at FSU Tallahassee ECE dept for course coordination and committee service
Be an engaged faculty member for the FSU Panama City campus
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Candidates who are ABD (all but dissertation) will also be considered
Preferred
Previous university teaching experience and the ability to teach a variety of courses in the Electrical Engineering curriculum
Candidates with industry experience and a strong commitment to mentoring students as they prepare for career or graduate studies
