Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines using AWS services such Redshift, S3, and DMS
Build infrastructure for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools
Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure deployments
Ensure observability, reliability, and performance of data systems through logging, alerting, and monitoring best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and support analytics and machine learning use cases
Drive automation and standardization in data engineering practices and infrastructure
Maintain strong security and compliance standards throughout the data stack
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud-native data infrastructure
Expertise in AWS services, particularly S3, DMS, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, and IAM
Hands-on experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools
Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like ECS or Kubernetes
Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with a DevOps mindset
Preferred
Exposure to event-driven architectures and stream processing (Kafka, Kinesis)
Understanding of cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud data environments
Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc
