Account Manager(San Francisco)

As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise customers across North America and Latin America, focusing on customer satisfaction, renewals, and expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities
Proven experience managing enterprise accounts in a high-growth database, cloud, or infrastructure technology company
Track record of driving expansion and renewals within existing customers, contributing to consistent ARR growth
Strong understanding of Challenger Sales and MEDDIC principles, with the ability to apply them to account growth and customer success
Skilled at identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer goals and aligning them with YugabyteDB’s capabilities
Hands-on approach to managing customer relationships—balancing strategic account planning with day-to-day responsiveness
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing enterprise accounts in a high-growth database, cloud, or infrastructure technology company
Track record of driving expansion and renewals within existing customers, contributing to consistent ARR growth
Strong understanding of Challenger Sales and MEDDIC principles, with the ability to apply them to account growth and customer success

Hands-on approach to managing customer relationships—balancing strategic account planning with day-to-day responsiveness
5-8 years of experience maintaining healthy pipelines of renewal and expansion opportunities through effective qualification and follow-up
Ability to communicate and reinforce YugabyteDB's business value to both technical and executive stakeholders
Attention to detail and operational discipline in managing multiple enterprise accounts and coordinating with internal teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills—able to partner effectively with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Data-driven mindset, using metrics and account analytics to forecast renewals, track usage trends, and identify growth potential
Preferred
Knowledge of distributed databases, mission-critical enterprise software, or cloud infrastructure is highly beneficial
