Responsibilities
Supervise and develop capable personnel to accomplish objectives
Work with division leadership to support quality initiatives and goals
Work closely with site leaders and other quality heads to improve our quality systems
Collaborate with customers to resolve difficult situations and navigate resolutions from quality perspective
Coordinate with diverse teams to establish an all-encompassing quality assurance framework
Conduct regular Gemba, skip level, and 1:1 meetings to maintain high staff engagement
Implement strategic plans, continuous improvement tactics and maintain compliance
Qualification
Required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening
Minimum Education required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution
8+ years of quality experience required
Prior direct and matrix people leadership experience required
Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment
Proven capacity to guide and support teams effectively
Must have a strong understanding of quality management systems
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control programs
Demonstrate outstanding communication and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to manage compliance with regulatory requirements
Ability to develop and lead complex teams in a matrix environment
Ability to lead conversations and partner with customers
Ability to think strategically with the capability to resolve problems
Practical application experience in continuous improvement methodologies to improve processes, strengthen quality and drive efficiency
