Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join their growing team in Naperville, IL. The primary responsibility of this role involves customer service duties for Commercial Lines customer accounts and transactions, supporting the production of business.

Responsibilities

Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address client’s needs, including risk and identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues
Responsible for day to day account management of clients accounts
Provide customer relations with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives
Follow up to address customer needs and resolve their problems/issues
Ensure the proper resources from within the organization are involved with the customer and introduce new products through the other core business groups where appropriate
Document sales, prospecting information into the sales management database
Prepare customer renewal and new business strategy including proposals and presentations and ensure they agree with customer’s requests/requirements
Present proposal to customer ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend
Maintain follow-up and suspense file though AMS360 and Image Right, documenting conversation in activities and adhering to all other automation procedures. Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
Keep producers and /or management fully informed of important activities on their accounts
Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology
Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition
Other duties as assigned

Required

Must be a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent
Comprehensive knowledge of all commercial lines insurance coverages and forms, including issuing of Certificates of Insurance
Ability to create and enhance business relationships, must have a friendly, outgoing personality with a good work ethic and professional demeanor
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines
