Responsibilities
Collaborate with a talented cross-functional group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Partner Teams to build scalable, high-performance solutions that power our Shopper Backend ecosystem
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Go-based microservices
Leverage API integrations, observability best practices, and infrastructure tools like SQL databases and Kafka to drive impactful, scalable solutions
Develop, test, deploy, and monitor the effectiveness of contributions, ensuring they create value for end users and align with business objectives
Qualification
Required
2+ years of relevant work experience
2+ years programming in Golang, Ruby, C, C++, Java, Python or similar language
Comfortable working with SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
Actively participate in the design process to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable architecture
Experience diagnosing and solving complex technical problems and performance bottlenecks using data
Experience reviewing and collaborating with other engineers on their code
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining systems that integrate with third-party services
Preferred
Experience with Kafka
