Curriculum Design Lead
Bold Charter School is dedicated to building world-class K-12 public schools that empower students to excel in college and life. The Curriculum Design Lead will collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategic objectives that enhance program design and learning outcomes across the K-12 model.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Develop and apply a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, and values
Design and implement a rigorous academic program, grounded in cognitive theory and science of learning principles, that prepares and supports every student to achieve at a high level; identify and track progress to indicators that reliably predict academic success at the secondary and post-secondary levels
Regularly lead and participate in data reviews and coaching cycles to drive student and team progress to goals
Conduct ongoing reviews of top-performing K-12 schools to ensure program design prepares every student to succeed alongside peers from top-performing public and independent schools
Develop a team to achieve ambitious outcomes, ensuring high levels of collaboration, alignment, and support; design and lead professional learning cycles that accelerate curriculum team development and impact
Develop strong relationships that meaningfully invest students team members in collaborating to achieve shared, ambitious academic outcomes
Model Bold’s core values and building a positive student and team culture across the school
Qualification
Required
3+ years of curriculum and assessment design experience in a high-performing K-12 setting
3+ years of teaching experience with a record of high levels of student achievement and a demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous classroom instruction
Preferred
Graduate degree in a related field preferred
Regents- and AP-level teaching experience preferred
