Responsibilities

Lead complex mechanical design programs from concept phase to production
Engage cross-functionally with Electrical, RF, Compliance, Validation and software development engineers
Utilize 3D CAD tools for mechanical hardware design
Conduct thermal simulation work using CFD tools
Engage with tooling vendors for DFM and FAI reviews
Create test plans for environmental validation testing and oversee this testing

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
Experience with Aluminum Die-cast and sheet metal design
Prior experience with CAD tools such as (Creo, SolidWorks, NX)
Experience with thermal lab testing and CFD modeling tools
Experience with leading complex product design programs

Preferred

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
Experience with ingress protection design (IP54 and IP67)
Experience with tooling vendor management (DFM, Hard tool bring up, FAI)
Experience with ISO standards for Shock & Vibration, Temperature, etc
