HR Generalist
Springs Window Fashions is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the daily operations of the HR function at their Waukegan manufacturing facility. This role involves providing hands-on support in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance, ensuring a positive associate experience aligned with the company culture.

Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for associates and supervisors regarding HR-related questions, policies, and processes
Coordinate hourly and temporary staffing needs in partnership with local staffing agencies and hiring managers
Manage onboarding and orientation for new associates, ensuring accurate completion of I-9s, HRIS setup, and badge issuance
Maintain associate records and process status changes, promotions, and terminations in ADP/WFM
Support attendance tracking, corrective actions, and disciplinary documentation in line with company policy
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly HR reports (headcount, temp usage, turnover, etc.)
Coordinate payroll adjustments and manage time keeping system (Workforce Manager)
Support in organizing associate engagement activities, communications, and recognition programs
Support compliance efforts related to EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable labor regulations
Partner with safety and operations to ensure a safe and inclusive work environment
Participate in investigations and provide documentation support as directed by the HR Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required
Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour, etc.)
Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems (ADP, Workforce Manager, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels
Preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
