The Group Facilitator role involves partnering with individuals to facilitate their desired life outcomes through skills training in a group setting, helping them manage symptoms, and integrating into the community.

Responsibilities

Provide skills training in a group modality to facilitate individuals' success in achieving and maintaining independent functioning
Work with individuals in developing skills necessary to manage symptoms, obtain/maintain employment or housing, and access services such as medical care and financial assistance
Utilize evidence-based interventions to assist individuals in managing stress and coping during crises or acute psychiatric episodes
Provide training to improve communication and interpersonal behaviors for community integration and support development
Maintain a trauma-sensitive workplace and embrace trauma-informed practices

Required

Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field
Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record
