Research Assistant NEUROLOGY HL
Brigham and Women's Hospital is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to patient care, research, teaching, and community service. They are seeking a Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator and Study Team by coordinating research activities, including data collection and management, and assisting with epidemiological studies.

Responsibilities
Responsible for data collection, management, manipulation, analysis, and reporting
Study cohort management
Outreach communication with subjects, conducting mailings, follow-up on mailings, and obtaining necessary documents
Provides assistance on work related to epidemiological studies and other population-based research
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Science required
New grad with some relevant coursework 0-1 year preferred
Bioinformatics
Programming (R, python, bash)
Statistics
Good software engineering skills
Familiarity with using high performance compute environments
Familiarity with distributed computing and GPU programming is a bonus
Experience working with single cell RNAseq and/or spatial transcriptomics is highly desirable
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Careful attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks
Computer literacy, including database tools
Ability to follow directions and exhibit professionalism
