Responsibilities

Own the development of new interactive experiences from prototype to product release

Work closely with other teams to bring your features to Lens creators

Push the boundaries of our AR platform and pave the way for external developers to easily do work at these boundaries

Past interns have worked on a variety of different projects such as Procedural Mesh Builder, Real time Image Marker Tracking, Connected Games Lenses and Bitmoji AI Assistant

Qualification

JavaScriptTypeScript3D game engineLens Studio3D graphics conceptsDigital content creationInterest in ARCommunication skillsProject management skills

Required

Ability to program highly interactive experiences independently on mobile platforms

Proficiency programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages (C#, C++, etc.)

Interest in the Augmented Reality field

Great communication and project management skills; ability to work in a team

Working towards a BS or an MS degree in fields such as interactive design, video game development, spatial computing, etc

Still continuing school in Fall 2026

Experience working with digital content creation tools (2D, 3D, etc)

A creative portfolio is required for this role

Preferred

Experience with a 3D game engine like Unity or Unreal

Experience with Lens Studio

Experience designing, prototyping, and programming with real-time 3D engines, including but not limited to Unity, Unreal, Three.js, OpenFrameworks, Processing, and WebGL/OpenGL

Understanding of 3D graphics concepts and familiarity with 3D packages (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema4D)
