Responsibilities
Working with a small team to develop seasonal collections and special projects from start to finish, reporting to the Design Director
Contribute to inspirations, surface treatments, research and sketching
Contribute to print and embroidery development, participate in all development fittings
Contribute to hands on work during sample making when needed
Communicate with vendors and factories whenever necessary
Conduct local sourcing when needed
Work closely with in-house Atelier and Development Team to ensure each new collection is executed to the brands standards
Contribute to design revisions needed for production
Follow design & studio protocols to help maintain a safe and organized working environment (physically & digitally)
Qualification
Required
BFA or AAS degree in Fashion Design
5-6 years minimum of relatable working experience
Experience working for a luxury brand in a small and fast-paced environment
Understanding of the brands aesthetic and passionate about maintaining the brands design DNA throughout all aspects of the brand
High design acumen, with a superior eye for colors, textiles, proportions and details
In-depth knowledge of high-end garment construction
Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator on MAC
Proficient in Adobe Fresco on iPad
Preferred
Made in NYC and atelier experience
