Pool and Spa Depot is Middle Tennessee's most trusted and fastest growing spa and pool retailer with nine locations. They are seeking an Assistant General Manager for their retail showroom who will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, and manage staff who are aligned with the company and retained to help fuel our growth

Spearhead ongoing training with a broad array of staff in operations, product/ service knowledge in all categories, sales and customer experience

Manage department operations and policy executed at a high level of discipline in order to drive productivity, efficiency, and quality work

Coordinate with service, install, delivery, construction and administrative staff on those sides of the business to ensure streamlined operations, and drive the performance and behaviors in those departments

Control and improve variable metrics, including revenue, unit sales, margins, expense control, labor and productivity

Motivate, coach, and lead all employees to operate at a very high level of customer service AND sales/profitability

Required

A minimum of at least three (3) years' strong experience or equivalent (Retail experience is required)

Experience in managing retail operations, including maintaining a clean, organized, well-merchandised building; integrity and follow-through on all operational platforms, including Pricing, Inventory, Communications, CRM, Intranet, and GoogleDrive

Manages and motivates staff to operate at high levels of defined behaviors and performance productivity in all departments

Demonstrates excellent written oral and communication skills

Makes appropriate judgement calls; manages priorities and workflow

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Demonstrates and manages excellent customer service skills

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
