Multi-Site EHS Manager II
Amazon is on a mission to become Earth’s safest place to work, and they are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead their Global WHS Program implementation. This role involves driving safety initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and building partnerships with Operations leadership to ensure a safe work environment for associates.

Responsibilities
Lead the site's safety champion, leading our Global WHS Program implementation
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement practical solutions that protect associates while supporting productivity
Drive safety initiatives that make a real difference
Build partnerships with Operations leadership to integrate safety into every aspect of our business
Measure performance against WHS policies, analyze metrics, and conduct site audits to address non-compliance issues
Oversee recordkeeping, workplace organization, and WHS training programs
Manage our first aid program and emergency response capabilities
Ensure immediate care is always available
Transform safety data into actionable insights
Engage associates in our safety mission
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience
3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience
For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date
Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
Work in an environment where the noise level varies
Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site
This position requires the flexibility to travel 50-70% of the time and work various shifts
Preferred
Experience in Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
Master's degree preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization
Certified Safety Professional preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders
Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of pivot tables and the development of charts and graphics
Ability to manage multiple sites/remotely
