Savvas Learning Company is seeking bright, motivated undergraduate students for a dynamic 8-week Product Development Internship. Interns will assist in the development of K-12 educational materials while gaining valuable experience and exposure to the educational publishing industry.

Responsibilities

Using the Company’s software and applications

Working with inputs and outputs to the Company’s databases and platforms

Uploading files and spreadsheets to the Company’s web applications

Correlating instructional content to state standards

Creating pagination logs

Contributing to the creation of content and assembly documents for shared content objects (SCOs)

Working on digital courseware development as well as the development of digital assets such as eTexts, digital homework, etc

Required

Current student enrolled in an undergraduate program from an accredited college or university, graduating after August 2026

Can commit to a full-time role (40 hours per week), for eight weeks out of the summer

Enthusiastic about working in a hybrid environment, onsite a minimum of two days per week in our Northbrook, IL office

Proficient in software used during the product development process, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Organized and manage time well

Aptitude and desire to learn new software applications

Great communicator, verbally and in writing

Can multitask and set priorities, and complete assigned tasks on schedule with the required level of quality

Open to using constructive feedback to refine skills and open to working collaboratively on a team

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; internship opportunities are not eligible for sponsorship

Preferred

Studying Publishing or Education, preferably a math discipline
