Supply Chain Process Designer II
Andersen Corporation is a leading company in the window and door industry, seeking a Supply Chain Process Designer II at their Bayport facility. The role involves managing and driving material and information flow processes within projects, focusing on developing end-to-end supply chain systems and contributing to medium to large scale projects.

Responsibilities
Identifies unexpressed customer needs or customer problems and can identify potential solutions
Develop material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs
Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions
Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects
Design and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives
Build reciprocal working relationships with people from across the organization and suppliers
Communicate new ideas, project status, and results to project team and leadership through organized presentations that promote dialogue and understanding
Develop new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain
Coaches, guides, and trains less experienced staff on technical skills within the functional area
Able to work as 'in-charge' lead for supply chain specific tasks
Informally provides direction to IT, scheduling, procurement, sourcing, vendors, etc
Qualification
Required
4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience
Has considerable versatility in applying specialized technical knowledge in a wide variety of situations
In-depth knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, Kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping
Well-developed project management skills
Possesses unique or specific knowledge that is frequently sought out by others
Strong communication skills through written, verbal, listening, and presentation techniques
Experience with change management strategies
Ability to travel 25% as required
