Associated Wholesale Grocers is the nation’s largest cooperative food wholesaler to independently owned supermarkets, and they are seeking a business or supply chain student for their 2026 Summer Internship on the AWG HGS team. The HGS Intern will gain valuable experience by supporting various business functions and working closely with buyers and category managers to analyze data and enhance product offerings.

Supporting the business side of Home Goods, General Merchandise, and Specialty Brands

Analyzing sales and purchasing trends

Evaluating product performance

Helping identify opportunities to enhance assortment and profitability

Business or Supply Chain major candidates

Junior or Senior level students

Solid interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Desire to work in a collaborative, dynamic, flexible and team-oriented environment while managing one's own time and responsibilities effectively

Ability to commit to a full-time, 40 hour per week, 10-week internship, with the possibility to work overtime as needed. Including regular and reliable attendance throughout the program
