Responsibilities

Providing technical and administrative leadership to approximately twenty-five mechanical and electrical engineers and analysts of varied experience levels
Coordinating direct report employee recruitment, training, performance assessment, work assignments, staffing, salary, recognition, and disciplinary actions
Coordinating with programs on technical and staffing requirements, ensuring adherence to the engineering development processes, and collaborating with cross-functional organizations, including engineering drafting and manufacturing leads
Reviewing business pursuits and proposals for structure and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in product development, with 4 or more years of experience as a Manager or Lead
Demonstrated competence in leading engineering teams, particularly executing the hardware development process
Demonstrated experience in customer relations
Demonstrated experience in earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level

Preferred

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
In-depth knowledge of RMS processes, including expertise in hardware engineering processes and the hardware engineering product life cycle
Capture Experience including authoring proposals
Experience in defense article development and production, to both domestic and international customers
