Intern - Product Applications Engineer

Responsibilities
Learn to operate all product models and knowledge of all materials used
Create portfolio guides on how and where to use FDM technology
Assist other engineers with developing new products and programs
Assist in performing routine maintenance on all platforms of FDM
Help troubleshoot and repair 3D printers
Speak with customers how on 3D printing is helping them achieve their manufacturing goals

Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
Must have completed at least two years of college (entering Junior or Senior year by Spring 2026)
Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications and/or experience in rapid prototyping is highly preferred
Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining positive relationships with sales teams, customers, and colleagues
Creative, with a strong desire to deepen your understanding of rapid prototyping applications
Self-motivated, able to work effectively on projects with minimal supervision
Open to constructive feedback and capable of handling customer concerns professionally
Local to Minnesota or able to relocate without assistance to the Minnetonka, MN area
Preferred
3D printing experience highly desired
Strong acumen in data quality and attention to detail
Hands on approach to solving problems with hardware, software, and processes
Preferred Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science
