Responsibilities
Manage the disposition of a portfolio of REO assets
Review appraisals and broker price opinions to establish market values and develop sales strategies
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while maximizing recovery and minimizing costs
Oversee internal processes and vendor management with a hands-on approach
Drive timely sale and disposition of assets through strict timeline management
Ensure accurate and timely reporting for internal and external distribution
Recommend procedural improvements to enhance departmental efficiency
Stay current on federal and state mortgage laws and regulations impacting operations
Qualification
Required
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines consistently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer-service oriented with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
High school diploma or GED required
2–4 years of related experience in REO asset management or mortgage servicing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
Experience with Pyramid, MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Sagent preferred
