Youth Behavioral Health Program Manager I

Responsibilities

Maintains operational, fiscal and programmatic oversight of one or more identified core programs
Works with staff, community agencies, and other entities to provide quality services
Drafting budgets and strategic plans with guidance from the CPD III
Managing financial reports and staying within budget
Handling administrative tasks like time-sheets, mileage, and expense submissions
Engaging through regular supervision, team meetings, and special events
Ensuring the program meets high standards—operationally, contractually, and in terms of safety
Guiding service delivery and acting as a liaison between clients, staff, funders, and community partners
Providing direct support or on-call coverage when needed
Leading trainings that build confidence and clarity
Implementing best practices and tracking outcomes
Helping the team stay informed and compliant with agency and funder requirements
Documenting incidents and concerns properly
Ensuring all service documentation is submitted accurately and on time
Representing the agency with integrity and upholding its ethical standards
Recruiting, hiring, orienting, supervising, and evaluating program staff under the direction of the CPD III
Conducting regular individual supervision sessions
Providing support and intervention when needed
Completing performance management actions—including terminations—in consultation with the CPD III
Preparing and conducting timely employee evaluations
Assisting with the recruitment, on-boarding, training, matching, and supervision of volunteers
Fostering a collaborative and compliant team environment that supports the agency’s mission and values

Required

Master's Degree in a related field and a minimum of one year prior management experience
A minimum of two years experience working in a related field/setting (community based, social services, behavioral health, school based or residential setting)
Meets all state-required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility (Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL, and clean driving record)
Meets all compliance requirements of federal, state, and county regulations through periodic sanction checks
