Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain reliable IT infrastructure—including servers (Windows and Linux), networks (LAN, WAN), telephony, and endpoint systems—to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Perform regular maintenance such as patching, updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and log monitoring to proactively identify and resolve issues
Deploy and configure hardware and software, manage routine automation of administrative tasks, and support IT projects or upgrades as needed
Provide multi-tiered help desk and technical support—resolving user issues and escalating complex challenges
Ensure network and system security by enforcing access controls, monitoring vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare)
Document network and system configurations, diagrams, policies, and procedures to support transparency and disaster recovery
Collaborate with vendors, external consultants, and internal teams to source, implement, and support technology solutions effectively
Conduct user training and support knowledge sharing on system operation, security best practices, and operational procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3–5 years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT operations, including system, network, and cloud infrastructure support
Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux environments, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization
Experience with Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, and essential directory services
Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
Hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and license management
Strong understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs) and hands-on experience with network products from vendors such as Cato Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, and Sophos
Skilled in configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of server, network and endpoint devices
Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles including access control, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and incident response; familiarity with tools such as SIEM, EDR, and MFA platforms
Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI security, and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare and regulated environments
Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and efficient troubleshooting while maintaining a user-centered approach
Team-oriented and adaptable, with a proven ability to contribute to IT projects and continuously improve processes
Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities effectively

Preferred

Familiarity with Citrix and other virtualization technologies is a plus
Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments
