Undergraduate Summer Intern
Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) offers college undergraduates the chance to expand their learning experiences through its in-person Summer Internship Program. Interns will work under the mentorship of renowned researchers, performing experiments and analyzing data in a research laboratory.

Responsibilities
Be assigned to a research laboratory for the duration of the internship
Work directly with a mentor in the lab to perform experiments and/or analyze data
Attend laboratory-specific meetings
Attend and participate in organized educational programs with other summer interns, including journal clubs, seminar series, and roundtable discussions
Present research findings at the end of the internship at a research symposium
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in a college or university with completion of at least one year education at this level
Entering the summer internship BEFORE the final year (or semester/quarter) of undergraduate studies
You must have authorization to work in the US. This internship is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred
Preference will be given to students that have completed at least 2 years of college coursework by the start of the internship
College coursework in the sciences, preferably in biology
