They are seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to lead the development of advanced process solutions using evaporation and crystallization technologies while engaging with clients to deliver tailored proposals and support project execution.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs
Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology
Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance
Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope
Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert
Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives
Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation
Complete engineering activities including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout
Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up
Provide leadership to engineers on the application engineering team
Review process design work and cost estimates produced by engineers
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience with evaporation and crystallization technology
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude
Possess strong mechanical aptitude
