Head of Quantum Computing Lab
Quantum Machines is the global leader in control systems for quantum computing, seeking an enthusiastic quantum physicist to lead their Quantum Computing Lab. This role involves overseeing the technological and business aspects of the lab, enhancing partnerships, and optimizing performance of quantum systems.

Responsibilities
Tech Lead: Own the technological aspect of a significant cohort of customers and opportunities, and develop relationships and partnerships. Create detailed technical plans to deliver our value proposition for potential customers. Stay up to date with most recent technology progress to bring the cutting-edge experience to our customers
Outreach: Lead generation of new partners and customers, support the Business Development team to bring new opportunities and customers, constantly grow and maintain the facility reputation and high demand
Operations Facility Management: You will be responsible for bringing up the systems to a working state together with our collaborators, work closely with technical teams to optimize and maintain performance, lead installation of new technologies and scale-up present technologies, while allowing seamless experience to internal and external users
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Physics or Electrical Engineering
Experience in experimental quantum computing
Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting or spin qubits – big advantage
Experience in the quantum industry – advantage
Can-do attitude and customer oriented
Strong organizational and time-management skills; A self-driven individual with high level of independence and discipline
Ability to build and maintain relationships, both across teams within the organization and with external collaborators
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; excellent presentation skills
