Responsibilities
Provide mammography examinations for young adult through geriatric patients
Assess patient condition
Operate imaging equipment
Operate Fuji CR equipment
Prepare examination rooms
Maintain equipment, supplies, and medications
Maintain necessary patient records
Participate in the department’s Performance Improvement program
Maintain the department’s mammography program for ACR/MQSA accreditation
Function as instructors for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program with an Associate degree or equivalent
Up to one year experience is required
Registered with ARRT in Mammography, or registry-eligible with registration complete within one year of employment
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire
SCRQSA required
Preferred
1 to 2 years experience preferred
