Aftermarket Sales Manager - Automation
John Charles Search is recruiting an Aftermarket Sales Manager on behalf of a well-established warehouse automation business. This role is focused on growing recurring aftermarket revenue, primarily through selling service, maintenance, and lifecycle agreements.
Responsibilities
Sell and manage service contracts, preventive maintenance agreements, and SLAs across an existing installed base
Drive contract renewals and recurring revenue growth, re-engaging lapsed or expired service customers
Identify and develop opportunities for system upgrades, retrofits, controls updates, and performance improvements
Build strong relationships with operational, engineering, and senior stakeholders within customer organisations
Work closely with service and engineering teams to align customer expectations with delivery capability
Own the aftermarket sales pipeline, forecasting, pricing, and CRM activity
Support commercial negotiations to ensure profitable, long-term agreements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in aftermarket, service, or lifecycle sales within warehouse automation, conveyors, ASRS, robotics, or material handling systems
Strong track record selling service and maintenance agreements into operational environments
Commercially confident, with the ability to clearly communicate ROI, uptime, and risk mitigation
Experienced in managing installed-base customers and recurring revenue targets
Highly organised with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
