Aircraft Mechanic

Daytona Aircraft Services, Inc. is a Part 145 FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in a diverse range of aircraft and extensive avionics refurbishments. Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, avionics, and other components
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft and components in accordance with FAA standards and manufacturer guidelines
Certify that completed maintenance meets airworthiness requirements
Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports
Adhere to all FAA regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies
Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and engineers to resolve technical issues
Communicate with flight crews and maintenance supervisors to ensure aircraft are safe for operation
Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
Ensure a clean and organized work environment

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
Minimum of 1 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, tools, and repair techniques
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and maintenance software
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred

Experience with Citation, King Air, Pilatus, Hawker, and any General Aviation aircraft
Additional certifications (e.g., Inspection Authorization, Avionics)
Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment
