Responsibilities

Build high-value use cases, rapid prototypes, and troubleshoot technical issues related to model performance and infrastructure, leveraging the latest Gemini Model capabilities
Contribute to the evolution of Gemini Models by shaping future capabilities and defining the roadmap for developer tools
Partner with Google DeepMind Engineering and Product Management teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that measurably impact Generative AI model quality and performance across Google’s product offerings
Explore, create, and assess novel methodologies for accurately measuring and evaluating the performance of complex Generative AI models
Stay current on industry trends, the latest machine learning research, tools, and advanced techniques

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python)
6 years of experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal or external partners or customers

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP)
6 years of experience working with Machine Learning and Generative AI applications (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, pattern recognition), applied ML techniques, or using OSS frameworks
Experience building ML solutions, leveraging specific architectures (e.g., LSTM, convolutional networks)
Experience launching and scaling user-facing, production quality partner integrations
Ability to navigate ambiguity, scope complex projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
