Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Project and Change Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support
Build a strong culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability
Define roles, responsibilities, and success metrics for project managers across the company
Scale the team as needed through recruiting and onboarding new talent
Drive complex, cross-functional programs from planning to execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities
Partner closely with stakeholders to define, deliver and track portfolio optimization
Manage risks, resolve conflicts, and communicate portfolio status to executive stakeholders
Facilitate cross-team planning and ensure alignment across roadmaps, dependencies, and deliverables
Establish and standardize best practices, tools, and frameworks for accelerated delivery management (e.g., agile, hybrid, waterfall)
Improve project intake, prioritization, and tracking workflows in alignment with business needs
Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes
Champion the adoption of project management tools and dashboards
Qualification
Required
6–10 years of experience in operational management in a SaaS, tech, or data-driven environment
2+ years of people management experience, ideally leading project/program managers or similar roles
Core understanding to critical business processes and operating models
Strong track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional initiatives
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills
Deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Strong organizational and communication skills with a bias toward action and clarity
Preferred
Experience working in a data analytics or enterprise SaaS company, an asset
Background working with technical teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Data Science), an asset
Familiarity with agile, scaled agile (SAFe), or hybrid delivery frameworks, an asset
PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications, an asset
