Sales Manager - Cosmetics (All Genders)

BIOWEG is looking for a Sales Manager to accelerate its growth in the cosmetics industry. The role involves expanding the client base, strengthening distributor partnerships, and driving commercial success across key European markets by combining technical knowledge with business acumen.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans within the assigned territory to achieve company objectives and strengthen BIOWEG’s position as a leading provider of bio-manufactured functional ingredients
Grow the French market by directly managing a portfolio of identified clients, building strong, long-term and trust-based relationships
Establish new partnerships with distributors in targeted European countries, including visiting, training and supporting the distributor network
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
Participate in internal training sessions, meetings and European trade shows to represent and promote the company
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improving commercial performance
Provide sales and project updates through the CRM system and deliver reliable forecasts to senior management
Effectively manage the allocated travel and expense budget

Required

Background in biology, chemistry, business or a related field, ideally complemented by a business degree
2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience in selling technical ingredients within the cosmetics industry is required (mandatory requirement)
Technical expertise in high value-added functional ingredients
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth
Strong ability to build and maintain trust-based client and distributor relationships
Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essential
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities with independence and accountability
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

Preferred

Proficiency in a third language (Italian, Spanish or German)
