Responsibilities

Responsible to lead, manage, and drive compliance for CE organization including international CE sites
Actively participating in process improvement activities led by Legal Contracts and Compliance and develop common process approaches for use by all P&W organizations and disciplines, in the areas of jurisdiction and classification (J/C), GT Focal training, export operational process management, and export authorization
Identify compliance risks, conduct/assist on audits and development of plans to eliminate/mitigate GT risks
Report all potential Global Trade concerns consistent with PW & RTX GT requirements
Advise the Associate Director, GT, CE of emerging issues or concerns
Partner with PW GT site leads abroad for necessary support, alignment, and strategy on the elements above
Support, analyze, and document third party screening, end use statement requests, licensing, classification, SAP GTS dispositioning and related tasks as required
Lead/facilitate GT investigations to ensure root cause is identified and corrective actions are put into place to drive down escapes
Assist sites in deploying standard work/written procedures for implementation of GT control processes

Required

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory or Global Trade function; OR an Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory or Global Trade function
US Citizenship is required, due to government contracts, programs and projects

Preferred

Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, MBA or Juris Doctor (JD)
Comprehensive understanding of U.S. export and import customs regulations including, the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Strong business acumen with ability to analyze problems, assess options and propose solutions
Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience
Understanding of continuous improvement principles and tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma/LEAN)
Experience working with SAP GTS module, Data Analysis tools, and MS Office Suite
Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers
