Senior Engineer Sales
Ingersoll Rand is committed to achieving workforce diversity and is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer. This role is responsible for managing sales in Gujarat and Daman and Diu, focusing on key end customers, OEMs, and channel partners while achieving defined sales goals.

Responsibilities
To explore new customers, applications and markets
Understand the application process and generate new inquiries for Blowers
Provide techno- commercial support to all the customers
Handle channel partners in Gujrat and Daman and Diu and expand the business through channels
To handle specified Gujrat and Daman and Diu, independently
Prepare weekly visit plans with a view to serving all the existing customers and to adding new customers to the portfolio
Prepare monthly sales projections in view of annual sales targets
To retain all the existing customers and focus on generating more revenue from them
To provide after-sales support to the customers in close coordination with the service team
Keep close eye on the competitor’s activities and develop & implement sound strategy to counter competition
Qualification
Required
BE/ B-Tech- Mechanical
4-8 yrs experience in sales and marketing in water and wastewater segment
Strong verbal or written communication skills
A Sales & Business Development Professional, preferably holding a degree in BE or B-Tech (Mechanical engineers will be preferred)
4-8 years' experience of selling, preferably working for companies within the Industrial manufactured products sales vertically
He / She will demonstrate a sound understanding of the Industrial Sales market in Gujrat and Daman and Diu and the customers as well as the key issues affecting the markets
He / She will also have demonstrable experience in working with these markets and a deep understanding of the decision-making process and the complex nature of the major projects
Must be strong in Negotiation with Customers
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Hindi is essential
A high degree of competence in presentation and customer handling is required
Must have sound knowledge of MS. Office
Must be comfortable with CRM tools like ZOHO, Salesforce etc
