Responsibilities

Support manufacturing production projects, collect data, analyze facts, implement solutions and review as needed
Take prompt action to minimize work stoppage and equipment downtime. Maintain supply inventory and request orders for new supplies in a timely manner
Facilitate on-time completion of preventative maintenance documentation and related actions
Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
Partner with quality to review quality data; inform any issues
Partner with Supervisor and management on projects or assignment as requested, always working in a safe way
Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period
All other duties or projects as assigned

Qualification

Required

Working toward a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial & Systems or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes
Ability to train, motivate and provide direction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills

Preferred

Bilingual in Spanish, a plus
Technically proficient to understand and interpret drawings
